I am a motorsports enthusiast from Finland, interested especially in INDYCAR and sports car racing.

Formula One was my first big interest in motorsports. Mika Häkkinen's success made me interested in F1 in the late 1990s. I also had interest in other motorsports. I enjoyed rallying in the early 2000s.

Thanks to Internet, I've been able to watch more series in the 2010s than I was able earlier on over-the-air TV channels. While I had been curious about Indy car racing ever since I got into motorsports in the late 90s, I wasn't able to follow it regularly before 2010s.

While F1 has not excited me in the 2010s the same way it did earlier, INDYCAR has become my favorite category. Sports car racing is another category I have got into in the 2010s. INDYCAR has helped my to understand oval racing, making me interested also about NASCAR.

I am more of a car guy and not that interested in motorbikes, however I like bike racing. MotoGP is one of my favorite series. Interest in motorsports has also made me interested in the business side of sports which is in a big role in motorsports.

I have written also for other sites. From July 2015 to April 2016 I was a writer for VAVEL USA, covering IndyCar and sports car racing and managing the alpine skiing coverage on the site. From May 2016 to April 2017 I was a writer for FormulaRapida.net, covering IndyCar, Indy Lights, FIA WEC, and DTM.
